| Setting up a HSphere Server E-Mail Account
in Outlook.
Feel free to print this walk-through.
First ensure you have a proper account setup with your web
site that already has a actual e-mail account and password setup. If you received
a confirmation from us that your account has been created the you can continue.
If you simply need to know the basic setup off hand for
any e-mail
program, Eudora, Outlook or Outlook Express is as follows.
Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing mail server: mail.yourdomain.com
Your account name:
username@yourdomain.com
*Also ensure that, "My outgoing mail server requires authentication is checked."
That's it!
The following is a walk through for Outlook Express but
similar to other e-mail programs.
**This walk-through assumes you will enter
in your actual address name for yourdomain.com
and e-mail account
myusername@yourdomain.com
,
Please substitute with your correct information.
Step 1. Open up your Outlook Express Located on your
desktop or usually in the lower-left corner of your windows computer. *If you
have Outlook 2000 these screens may be slightly different.

Step 2. Once opened Click on Tools, then Accounts
located on the menu.

Step 3. Click on the MAIL tab across the top. If you have
other e-mail accounts present remove them if you know you do not use them or
they currently do not work. Otherwise leave any already setup accounts alone.
Step 4. To add a new e-mail account click on ADD, then
MAIL across the top.

Step 5. Now enter your display now, typically this is
either you first and last name or company name.

Step 6. Enter in your complete e-mail address, this will
be your username@yourdomainname.com

Step 7. Enter now your domain name into the incoming
and outgoing mail server. Remember it will begin with mail.
then your domain name after the period.

Step 8. Enter in your username,
yourusername@yourdomain.com and password, and click next.

Step 9. Click Finish! -Almost done!-

Step 10. Now ensure your new account name is highlighted
and click on Properties on the right hand side of the menu.

Step 11. Enter a check-mark in, "My server requires
authentication."

Click Ok again, close Outlook, or Outlook Express and re-open
it. You should be all set. If you have trouble please submit a help-desk ticket
in your Control panel.
